Programme description

The programme consists of one year taught courses and another year of research. The subject of the project is determined in close liaison with your supervisor, preferably within the area of expertise of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology before you will be allowed to register for the programme. The initial research proposal is approved by a departmental research committee and the University of Cape Coast Institutional Review Board and/or the relevant Research Ethics Committees. Progress of study is monitored continuously by the supervisor. If you are unable to demonstrate satisfactory progress, the Programme Committee may recommend that you discontinue your studies.
