Admission requirements

In addition to fulfilling the Moi University Graduate studies common regulations governing admission, an applicant must hold:

• Master’s Degree in Immunology or equivalent degree recognized by Moi University Senate
• Pass (50%) written and oral entrance examinations administered by the Department of Immunology
• International students should demonstrate proficiency in the English language

Application procedure

Applications are made online between April and June every year at the Moi University website-https://admissions.mu.ac.ke/. Copies of certificates, transcripts, and any other relevant testimonials must be uploaded with the application

Duration

A Ph.D. in Immunology candidate may be registered as a full-time student for a minimum of three (3) years and a maximum of five years. A candidate may be registered as a part-time student for a minimum of four years and a maximum of seven years. Continuance of registration depends on evidence of satisfactory progress.
