Partnering for Health Professionals Training in African Universities (P4HPT – II) is an EU-funded project under the Intra-ACP Academic Mobility Scheme which aims at building capacity of health professionals with a view to expand the health workforce size in the target countries and subsequently improve well-being of communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership is composed of:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1.  Moi University (Kenya) – Lead Partner<\/em><\/li>
  2. Makerere University (Uganda)<\/li>
  3. Stellenbosch University (South Africa)<\/li>
  4. University of Cape Coast (Ghana)<\/li>
  5. Link\u00f6ping University (Sweden) – Technical Partner<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The programme awards scholarships to postgraduate students and staff from various African countries to study at one of the partner institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Masters Scholarships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Students to be eligible for a scholarship (i.e. financial support to third parties), master students as well as doctoral candidates referred to as \u201cstudents\u201d must comply with the below criteria at the time of the application for a scholarship:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Being nationals of a member state of the African Union and being resident in Africa<\/li>
    2. Being registered\/admitted in or having obtained a HEI degree (or equivalent) from: \u2013 one of the HEIs involved in the partnership (including the lead applicant) (Target Group I); or \u2013 a HEI not involved in the partnership but established in Africa (Target Group II)<\/li>
    3. Have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses in the host countries<\/li>
    4. Students can only benefit from one scholarship under the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme (regardless the type of mobility or the funding project). Students having benefitted from scholarship(s) under the previous Intra-ACP Academic Mobility Scheme cannot receive scholarships under the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
